Tour
Individual arrival in Mukran for the ferry crossing to Rønne (approx. 3.5 hours, excluding bike). After leaving the ferry In Rønne you will be greeted by the guest manager, drop off your luggage and receive your tour information. If you rented bikes, they will be ready for you at the harbour or at your start hotel in Rønne.
Look forward to the western part of Bornholm with its spectacular cliffs and the village of Hasle. The city has become famous for its smoked fish, which you should not miss! Rugged cliffs, pristine forests, crystal clear lakes and fine sandy beaches - everything will cross your way. Past the magnificent castle ruins Hammershus, which sit enthroned on a cliff above the Baltic Sea, you cycle to Allinge or Sandkas.
Discover today the northern tip of Bornholm with the Hammeren, a beautiful nature reserve. Enjoy Sandvig's beach and marvel at the petroglyphs in and around Sandvig. They emanate from the first inhabitants of the island and are said to be 2,500 years old. The granite surfaces and a visit to the venerable harbor hotel will impress you as well. This white building is situated at the small harbor and rewards its guests with a magnificent view over the Baltic Sea.
Cycle along the coast to Gudhjem and visit the art museum there. A slight detour to the cliffs of Heeligdomskliperne is a must. The smokehouses and the small harbour define the town of Gudhjem. Continue along the coast through several small fishing villages until you reach Svaneke. Spend the night in Svaneke or Balka.
Discover today the impressive church of Øesterlar, one of the oldest sacral buildings on the island (built in 1150). With 3 floors and massive outer walls, the church used to be a fortified place of refuge for the Bornholmers. Before your return, you should enjoy the fantastic view from the lookout tower Rytterknegten.
Start your day with a visit to the town center of Nexø, the second largest town on the island with 4000 inhabitants and characterized by its harbour. A harmonious mixture of old and young, from the harbor environment and lively hustle and bustle on the market square awaits you. Stroll through the small shops and stop at one of the nice cafés and restaurants before you follow the cycle path inland through wide fields and meadows to the flower town of Aakirkeby. Visit the imposing and oldest stone church on the island before continuing to Rønne.
