Highlights

Rijeka
Located at the northern end of the famous Kvarner Bay, the city of Rijeka is the perfect starting point for your bike & boat trip through the Kvarner Bay. In addition to a pretty old town with historical sights, Rijeka has a medieval fortress and several beautiful promenades by the sea.

Insel Krk
Island Krk is the largest island in the Adriatic Sea. It is also known as Insula Aurea, or the Golden Island. Krk is known for its beautiful beaches and clear waters, but also for its karst landscapes and lush forests. The Krk wine region is known for the white wine variety Zlahtina, which is traditionally grown in the municipality of Vrbnik.

Island Rab
The Island Rab is one of the best known and most popular destinations for Germans and Austrians, offering amazing scenic diversity, beautiful beaches, cultural monuments from the pre-Roman period and much more.

Island Pag
The Island Pag is probably the most contrasting island in Croatia. Nowhere else in Croatia do scenic extremes meet so starkly. A place that polarizes people. It can be seen as Croatia's answer to Lanzarote.

Island Losinj
The Island Losinj is home to subtropical vegetation with palm trees, pines, agaves, oleanders, citrus trees, sage and lavender. With over 2500 hours of sunshine a year, which corresponds to around 300 cloudless or cloudless days, Losinj is one of the sunniest places in Europe.

Island Cres
The picturesque Island Cres in the Kvarner Bay is one of the most popular vacation destinations in Croatia with its pristine rocky coves, inviting pebble beaches and charming fishing villages. Together with the neighboring island of Krk, Cres is the largest island in the Adriatic.

The 43-metre-long MS Aria made its maiden voyage in June 2016. The ship will be extensively renovated for the 2025 season, making it even more comfortable and turning a trip on the ship into an incomparable experience. The MS Aria offers two spacious sun decks with a total area of approx. 290 m². These are equipped with 36 sun loungers and retractable awnings to provide shade when needed. There are tables with benches and chairs on the covered main deck behind the saloon. A bathing platform with showers at the stern invites you to take a refreshing dip in the Adriatic.

The saloon on the main deck is air-conditioned and can accommodate 38 people. The MS Aria can accommodate 36 guests in 17 cabins. On the lower deck there are 2 triple cabins (2 single beds and a 3rd bed above), 2 double cabins (beds can be placed together or separately) and 4 double cabins with a French bed. The main deck has 5 double cabins with a French bed, the upper deck has 4 double cabins (beds can be put together or separated). The portholes on the lower deck cannot be opened, but the deck has a ventilation system that still provides fresh air. The portholes on the main and upper decks can be opened.

Tour

The journey to Rijeka is on your own and embarkation takes place between 11.00 and 12.00 in the harbour of Rijeka. There you will be welcomed by your tour guide. In the afternoon, the ship will take you to Njivice on the island of Krk, from where you will set off on your first cycle tour. This tour takes you from Njivice to the town of Krk, the main town on the island.

After fortifying yourself with breakfast, you cycle inland to Čižići and from there on to Vrbnik. The old town is perched high on a rock on the east coast of Krk. The climb is rewarded with a fantastic view! The famous golden wine ‘Žlahtina’ is grown in the surrounding vineyards. You have the opportunity to have lunch in a cosy konoba before continuing your journey towards the town of Krk. Your boat is already waiting in the harbour there.

The boat takes you to Lopar in the north of the island of Rab, which you reach after a short crossing. You continue by bike through Supetarska Draga to the town of Rab, where the boat is already waiting for you for lunch in front of the picturesque backdrop of the old town with its four striking bell towers. After lunch, you will explore the 1,400-hectare Kalifront forest park, which impresses with its holm oaks that are up to 1,000 years old. After a break in the idyllic ‘Bay of Love’, you cycle back to Rab. A guided tour of the town awaits you there before you have the opportunity to dine in one of the restaurants.

The boat trip to Lun, the northernmost point of the neighbouring island of Pag, only takes about half an hour. Pag fascinates with its contrasts - at times the landscape is reminiscent of a barren lunar landscape, at others it is characterised by lush green herb meadows where the numerous sheep that produce the famous Pag sheep's cheese graze. The cycle tour first takes you to Novalja, the main town in the north of the island, where you take a break. You then cycle on to Mandre, where the boat is already waiting for you in the harbour. Lunch is served on board today and the afternoon is at leisure. You can choose your own restaurant for dinner.

Today, a slightly longer sea route awaits you - the crossing from Mandre to Mali Losinj on the island of Losinj takes about four hours. On the way, you will stop at a bay and enjoy your lunch there. After arriving at the port of Mali Losinj, you will get on your bike and explore the impressive nature of the island, which is known for its extensive pine forests. The bike tour will take you along the coast around the sikat Bay and through the Suncana Uvala (Sunshine Bay) to the picturesque port town of Veli Losinj and back again. After that, you will have the opportunity to have dinner at one of the restaurants in Mali Losinj.

This day is the “Day of the Two Islands” on the agenda. After breakfast, get back on your bikes and start the bike tour from Mali Losinj towards Osor, where the islands of Losinj and Cres are connected by a swing bridge. From there, we continue cycling through the villages of Belej and Vrana to the town of Cres, the main town of the island. After lunch on board, you will have the afternoon at your disposal - perfect for exploring one of the nearby beaches by bike.

The last bike tour of the trip starts at the port and takes you along the coast to the green lantern, located on the south side of the entrance to the bay of Cres. After passing through the town, continue to the red lantern on the north side and follow the coastal path back to the ship. After lunch on board in Cres, the bikes are loaded for the last time. Afterwards, the ship leaves the port and heads to a bay in the north of the island, where you will have the opportunity to swim one last time in the beautiful blue Adriatic before the ship takes you back to Rijeka. Your last evening will be spent in one of the restaurants in Rijeka and with a last night on board.

Today your bike & boat journey through the Kvarner Bay ends after breakfast. Let the kitchen crew spoil you one last time before the check-out takes place until 09:00. After that, you start the individual journey home or the transfer to the airport.

The planned route is always subject to possible changes due to nautical, meteorological or organisational reasons. If, for example, a route cannot be travelled due to low water, high water, bad weather or construction work, the captain reserves the right to change the route for your safety. This is not a legally valid reason for cancelling the trip free of charge. The same applies in the event of officially ordered lock or bridge repairs or in the event of engine or propulsion damage to the ship through no fault of the captain.
As your ship usually sails to the next harbour on the same day, your time frame for your own activities and sightseeing is limited. On some bridges, the clearance height is so low that the sun deck is closed for your safety.
