Tour
Individual journey to Split. Embarkation takes place between 2 and 2:30 pm in the harbour of Split. At around 4:30 pm we invite you to a guided city tour of Split. The Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is directly integrated into the famous palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. During the tour, you will learn fascinating details about the history of the city and visit its most important sights. The ship stays overnight in Split harbour.
You start the day with a crossing to the island of Brač. The island of Brač is famous for its brilliant white limestone, which was used to build the White House in Washington and the Reichstag in Berlin, among other things. You cycle from the picturesque Pučišća, which is home to one of Croatia's most famous sculpture schools, to Bol. Nearby is the famous ‘Golden Horn’, one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. If you wish, you can take a dip in the refreshing water here before the MS Harmonia takes you to the island of Hvar in the harbour of Jelsa, where you will spend the night.
Today's cycle tour takes you through picturesque lavender fields and charming villages to the island's capital, Hvar, on the opposite side. Use the time before the crossing to admire the impressive Renaissance square, take a stroll through the narrow streets of the old town and enjoy the view of the Spanish fortress high above the town. The ship will then take you to the island of Vis, where you will spend the night.
The island of Vis is the furthest inhabited island in Croatia from the mainland. A Greek colony called Issa was founded on the island 2300 years ago. In the afternoon, you will explore the beautiful island by bike. From the town of Vis, you cycle once around the entire island with a coffee stop in the harbor of Komiza and a traditional lunch on the way. After your bike tour, it's time to cast off and take your boat to Vela Luka on the island of Korčula. You will spend the night in Vela Luka tonight.
On today's cycle tour, you will explore the entire island, which delights with its Mediterranean climate and breathtaking scenery. Enjoy the marvellous views and the deep blue sea as you cycle to the picturesque island capital of Korčula. This city competes with Venice for the title of birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. In Korčula, a guided tour through the herringbone-like alleyways of the old town awaits you, during which you will learn fascinating stories about the town and the island. Overnight stay in the town of Korčula.
After a relaxing morning crossing, you will reach Pomena on the island of Mljet. From there, you cycle across the entire island, which is one of the most densely wooded in the Mediterranean with a forest cover of 70 per cent. Homer already mentioned Mljet in his Odyssey as the home of the nymph Calypso, who kept the hero Odysseus here for seven years. You will be picked up from your boat in Sobra and ferried to the small island of Šipan.
Šipan, the largest of the Elaphiti Islands, may be small and manageable, but it has a special charm. This idyllic island provides the perfect setting for your last cycle tour of this trip. Back on board, during the crossing to Dubrovnik, you will have the opportunity to reflect on the experiences of the past varied week. After your arrival in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Dubrovnik, an exciting guided city tour awaits you, followed by plenty of time to explore the city on your own. The day ends with an atmospheric dinner on board, where you can say goodbye to the crew and tour guides - and perhaps make your first plans for your next trip.
After breakfast disembarkation until 9 am and individual trip home.
The planned route is always subject to possible changes due to nautical, meteorological or organisational reasons. If, for example, a route cannot be travelled due to low water, high water, bad weather or construction work, the captain reserves the right to change the route for your safety. This is not a legally valid reason for cancelling the trip free of charge. The same applies in the event of officially ordered lock or bridge repairs or in the event of engine or propulsion damage to the ship through no fault of the captain.
As your ship usually sails to the next harbour on the same day, your time frame for your own activities and sightseeing is limited. On some bridges, the clearance height is so low that the sun deck is closed for your safety.
